- 1Start with the heavy dark
Start with the heavy dark blue blocks to carve out the background border. The massive dark blue background completely surrounds the main character and blocks all inside access. You cannot reach the bug body or the saxophone until you clear a solid path around the outside edges first. Look at your tray and locate the heavy blue blocks. Pull the thirty eight dark blue block and the forty dark blue block from your tray into the waiting slots at the bottom of the screen. The dark blue ants will immediately stream out of the nest hole and race up the far left and right sides of the picture. They will start eating away the thick outer layers of the solid blue square. Watch the numbers on your blue blocks count down as the ants consume the tiles at a rapid pace. Do not pull any other colors into the slots right now. You must wait patiently for the ants to expose the bottom edge of the bug and the bottom curve of the saxophone before you introduce new colored blocks. Letting the heavy blue layer clear first is the absolute only way to keep your waiting slots completely open and safe from early dead ends
- 2Introduce dark red and yellow
Introduce dark red and yellow blocks to attack the bottom of the character. Once the blue ants clear the bottom corners of the background you gain direct access to the saxophone and the bug body. Now is the perfect time to bring new colors up from the tray. Pull the thirty dark red block and a twenty six yellow block up to your waiting slots. The red ants will march straight toward the lower right side of the bug body to clear the thick dark red tiles making up the character. The yellow ants will split off and head left to start dissolving the bottom curve of the bright yellow saxophone. Pulling these two specific colors at the exact moment they become exposed on the board ensures the new ants have an immediate and open path to their targets. Your waiting slots remain perfectly safe because the numbers on the blocks instantly start ticking down toward zero. You want to maintain a steady and constant flow of ants hitting both the left and right sides of the central figure to speed up your progress
- 3Deploy white and brown blocks
Deploy white and brown blocks to clear the belly details. As the dark red body tiles vanish you will expose the lighter underbelly of the bug. You will see small clusters of white tiles and brown tiles stacked together in the center. Look at your tray and pull the white blocks carrying the number one. Next pull a twenty eight brown block into the active area. The white tiles disappear almost instantly because their required numbers are incredibly low and the ants reach them quickly. This fast clear action instantly opens up the brown sections resting right above them. The ants will consume the brown belly pattern and the brown base of the saxophone reed at the exact same time. Keeping these low number blocks moving rapidly helps free up valuable space in your waiting slots without any delay. You always want to prioritize the blocks that will clear entirely within a few short seconds so you never risk a board jam
- 4Bring up the black blocks
Bring up the black blocks for the sunglasses and outlines. The ants have now carved out the entire lower half of the bug and the black sunglasses are fully exposed near the top of the character. Find the thirteen black block down in your tray and tap it into an empty waiting slot. The black ants will climb straight up the open center of the board and completely devour the dark sunglasses. They will also eat the small black detail lines outlining the top sections of the saxophone. While the black ants handle their job you can add another yellow block to the board to keep the saxophone clearing progress moving forward. Balancing two entirely different colors on opposite sides of the puzzle board maximizes the overall flow of your colony. The different colored ants do not bump into each other so you can easily clear the top and the left sides simultaneously without any slowdown
- 5Activate the cyan blocks to
Activate the cyan blocks to eliminate the wings. The sides of the main bug are now completely bare and the cyan wings stick out perfectly into the open space. Pull the thirteen cyan block from your tray into a slot. The cyan ants will exit the hole and split up to target both the left wing and the right wing at the exact same time. The wings are relatively small so the thirteen block will melt away extremely quickly. Keep your eyes locked on the tray and pull small yellow blocks to clear the remaining top keys of the saxophone. You are getting very close to the end of the puzzle and the central character picture is shrinking fast. Do not rush ahead and pull the heavy dark blue blocks just yet. You want the inner character completely gone before you focus all your attention back on the remaining background canopy
- 6Release heavy dark blue blocks
Release heavy dark blue blocks to tackle the upper background canopy. The bug character is mostly gone leaving a large and heavy canopy of dark blue background at the very top of the board. You need heavy numbered blocks to bring this massive section down. Pull a thirty dark blue block into your empty slot. The blue ants will rush directly past the empty space where the bug used to be and attack the solid blue roof. The number thirty will tick down rapidly as the huge swarm covers the entire top edge of the board. At the exact same time pull another dark red block to finish off the very top edge of the bug head. The red ants and blue ants will work side by side to bring the top heavy picture down toward the bottom nest hole. Your slots remain perfectly managed because every active block has a massive open surface to target without any obstruction
- 7Clear the final scattered tiles
Clear the final scattered tiles and finish the board. Only a few small clusters of loose tiles remain scattered near the top of the screen. You have a few dark red tiles left from the top of the head and some scattered blue background pieces in the very top corners. Pull the final six dark red block and your last large dark blue blocks from the tray. Add the last brown blocks to clear the tiny remaining accents floating alone. The ants will form small focused lines straight up the middle of the empty board to grab these final loose pieces. Watch the numbers hit zero and the blocks vanish from your waiting slots one by one. The last few ants will carry their pieces back to the hole and disappear. The board is now completely empty and you have won the level without ever causing a single jam
