1. 1
   Handle the first set of
   Handle the first set of connected boxes. As you clear the front row of the tray, you will encounter the connected boxes. These are two blocks linked together by a thick line. The first connected pair links a dark red block to a light pink block. You have to pull them as a single pair and they will occupy two of your five waiting slots. Before you pull this connected box, look at the board to ensure the ants can reach both colors. The lower arms of the starfish hold the light pink and dark red tiles you need for this pair. Pull the connected pair into your slots. The ants will split up and clear these colors simultaneously. This keeps your slots moving efficiently and prevents a slot jam

   

2. 2
   Hollow out the lower half
   Hollow out the lower half of the main body. With the lower arms gone, the center of the board opens up beautifully. You need to keep the ants moving upward into the core of the starfish. Pull more red blocks from the tray for the main body. You should also pull light blue blocks to handle the water borders along the lower left and lower right sides. The ants will chew through the center mass of the starfish while separate groups tackle the water edges. This creates a massive clear space in the middle of the board. Your waiting slots will empty fast because the ants have plenty of exposed tiles to work on in multiple directions. Avoid pulling blocks for the top corners of the water until the center is much cleaner

   

3. 3
   Send ants to clear the
   Send ants to clear the black eyes and center spots. Now the ants have a wide open path to the upper half of the starfish. You will see another connected box pair in your tray. This pair links a black block to a light pink block. The black block is essential for clearing the starfish eyes. Pull this connected pair into your slots. The ants will march straight up the center of the board to clear the eyes and the surrounding light pink details. If you had pulled this connected pair too early, it would have jammed your slots heavily because the eyes were protected by layers of red body tiles. Now they are perfectly exposed and the ants will clear them in seconds

   

4. 4
   Sweep the left and right
   Sweep the left and right water borders. While a few ants finish up the starfish eyes, you can focus on the side borders. The tray will present large number blue and light blue blocks. Pull a blue block and a light blue block into your slots to get the colony moving outward. The ants will travel up the left and right sides of the board to clear the water background and the scattered bubbles. This step requires large swarms of ants. Let the numbers on these blocks count down before you pull too many other things. You want to keep at least two slots open to handle the final pieces of the starfish body

   

5. 5
   Eliminate the top arm of
   Eliminate the top arm of the starfish. The only part of the starfish remaining is the very top arm pointing straight up. Pull the final red and dark red blocks from the tray. The hidden boxes in the tray will now move to the front and reveal their colors. These hidden boxes often provide the exact red blocks you need to finish the main subject. The ants will rush up to the top center and eat the last red tiles. Watch the board to confirm the starfish is completely gone. At this point your waiting slots should be nearly empty. This leaves you in a perfect position for the final push to clear the board

   Flood the final water tiles
   Flood the final water tiles at the top. The board now only has the top section of blue and light blue water remaining. Your tray will be full of blue and light blue blocks. You can safely pull these remaining blocks to fill your slots. The ants will swarm the entire top edge of the board in a massive wave. Since all the remaining tiles are exposed and match the blocks in your slots, there is zero risk of a slot jam. The ants will eat the last blue water tiles and the final light blue bubbles. This clears the picture completely and wins the level

   

7. 7
   Focus on the lower grass
   Focus on the lower grass and cliff base first to open the bottom paths. Start your sequence by analyzing the bottom left corner where you need to clear the green grass and the orange rock foundation first. Pull the green block with a value of 37 and the orange block with a value of 13. The ants will immediately rush the green grass and orange cliff base on the left side of the board. You will notice a red block valued at 38 connected directly to an orange block valued at 15 in the tray. Pulling this connected pair is your next move. The orange block will finish off the lower cliff details while the red block will start working on the thick bottom stripe of the lighthouse. Bring up the dark purple block valued at 25 to attack the large rock foundation under the building. The ants will split their focus perfectly between the red lighthouse base and the dark purple rocks. The massive Hungry Door counter in the middle of the sky will begin to drop from 188 as these lower tiles disappear. Watch your five waiting slots very closely during this opening phase. Do not pull the light blue or white blocks into your tray yet because the sky paths remain totally blocked by the rocks and the door. Keep your active slots focused entirely on dark purple, orange, and green to keep the lower paths flowing smoothly
8. 8
   Clear the ocean water to
   Clear the ocean water to open the middle paths around the cliffs. Once the green grass disappears you must transition your focus to the blue water section. The water tiles wrap around the right side of the dark purple rocks and sit directly beneath the Hungry Door. Pull the dark blue block valued at 4 and the light blue block valued at 1 to send your colony into the ocean section. Your ants will aggressively eat these water tiles and drive the door counter down significantly. Bring up another dark purple block to maintain pressure on the left cliff base. You also need to pull another red block and a white block to chew through the lighthouse tower on the left side. The lighthouse design alternates between thick red and white stripes. You must time your block pulls to match the exact stripe the ants are currently touching. If you pull a white block while a red stripe blocks the path, your waiting slots will quickly fill up and jam. Keep feeding the dark blue and light blue blocks until the entire lower ocean clears out. Clearing the water opens a massive path up the right side of the board giving your ants direct access to the dark purple rocks on the right cliff
