- 1Pull the first group of
Pull the first group of Connected Boxes from the tray Connected Boxes are the most dangerous element on this board. You must handle them with extreme caution because they consume three waiting slots instantly. Look at your tray to spot the white block numbered 35 linked directly to a red block numbered 30 and a black block numbered 25. Because they are physically tied together by that solid grey line they move as one. Before you touch them you must verify that you have at least three empty waiting slots available. You also need to confirm that white food, red food, and black food are exposed. The white background is wide open. The red skin on the arms and face is now exposed because you cleared the yellow shirt. The black hair is still mostly trapped but the black block can sit safely in the slot while the white and red ants work. Tap the Connected Boxes to bring them up. The white ants will target the outer edges of the grid. The red ants will march up through the empty space left by the shirt and begin eating the brown hands and the bottom of the chin
- 2Flood the board with white
Flood the board with white ants to destroy the background grid The white background grid is deceptive because it covers so much surface area. You might think one block is enough but you really need multiple white blocks working together. As your first connected white block counts down you need to bring up more reinforcements. Tap the single white block numbered 30 and the white block numbered 34 from your tray. You will now have a huge swarm of white ants splitting into two massive streams. One stream will climb the left side of the board and the other stream will climb the right side. They will create a double wide path up the screen and devour the thick outer borders of the picture. They will also clean out the tiny white tiles inside the mouth and eyes of the character. Watch your waiting slots very closely during this process. Do not pull any other colors until these white blocks drop down to zero and vanish from your slots
- 3Focus entirely on the red
Focus entirely on the red tiles making up the face and skin The character head remains as a solid block of red and black tiles floating at the top of the board. The brown skin is represented by the red blocks in your tray. Tap the red blocks numbered 27 and 20 from your tray. A thick line of red ants will march straight up from the nest hole and attack the face. They will strip away the cheeks, the nose, and the forehead. The numbers on your red blocks will drop steadily. If one red block empties and you still see skin tiles on the face tap another red block numbered 30 from the tray. Always maintain at least one completely empty waiting slot just in case you make a mistake. The red ants will eventually carve away everything except the dark black hair at the very crown of the head
- 4Deploy the final black blocks
Deploy the final black blocks to consume the hair The only significant section remaining is the black hair. Your waiting slots should be mostly empty by this point. Tap the black block numbered 25 and the black block numbered 17. The distance from the nest hole to the top of the head is quite long. The black ants will take a few seconds to travel up the empty board. Do not panic and pull more blocks while they are walking. They will eventually swarm the hair and eat it from the outside inward. Let the black numbers count down. You might spot one or two stray white tiles hiding in the corners. If you do simply pull your final white block numbered 1 to clean them up. The black ants will finish the last piece of hair. All your blocks will reach zero and disappear to end the level
- 5Pull the large white blocks
Pull the large white blocks to clear the bottom corners of the board The first thing you need to do is give your ants room to work. The entire picture is boxed in by white background tiles. Look at your tray and find the white blocks carrying the number 45. Pull one into your waiting slot. The ants will stream out of the nest and attack the bottom left and bottom right corners of the white background. Pull another white block to keep the momentum going. You want to strip away the bottom two rows of white tiles completely. This opens a clear path to the brown branch and the lower flowers. Do not touch the red or dark grey blocks yet because those tiles are buried deep inside the picture. If you pull a dark grey block now it will sit in your tray and waste a valuable space
- 6Activate the yellow and orange
Activate the yellow and orange blocks to eat the flower centers Now that the bottom edge is exposed you can see the flowers clearly. Find the small orange and yellow blocks in your tray and move them to the waiting area. The orange block holds the number 5 and another orange block holds the number 4. The ants will quickly run up and eat the centers out of the flowers on the branch. This is a crucial move because it breaks the solid wall of flowers into smaller pieces. By clearing the centers you expose the inner edges of the green leaves and the red petals. Keeping your waiting slots clear of small blocks prevents them from jamming up your board later. You always want to knock out the small numbers whenever they have an open path
- 7Use the green and brown
Use the green and brown blocks to dismantle the lower branch With the flower centers gone you have direct access to the leaves and the wood. You will see a green block with the number 19 in your tray. Pull this block into your waiting area. The colony will split into groups and swarm the leaves on the left side and the right side of the branch. While they work on the leaves you should pull a brown block to start eating the wood. You will see a brown block with the number 34 in your tray. Move it up to the waiting slots. The ants will eat away the bottom of the branch. This exposes the pink belly of the robin and more of the dark grey outline. You must always clear the obstacles below the bird before you try to pull colors for the bird itself
