   Deploy the black ants to break down the heavy outlines Every major object in this soup picture features a thick black outline. You need to break these outlines to give your ants access to the higher sections of the board. Pull a black block from the tray into a waiting slot. The black ants stream up the left side of the bowl. They eat the black tiles that hold the green background apart from the white bowl. Keeping the black outline eroding is highly beneficial because it frees up the inner soup and creates a much wider path for other ants to travel. You watch the number on the black block drop steadily as the ants chew through the borders. Your waiting slots remain perfectly safe because the black ants never run out of targets

   Manage the hidden box and
   Manage the hidden box and send brown ants to the spoon Your tray reveals a grey hidden box with a question mark. You leave it alone until it reveals its true color. You do not want to pull a hidden box and risk clogging a slot with a color that has no open path. Instead you pull a brown block. The brown ants run up the right side of the bowl to reach the brown spoon. The spoon rests deep inside the soup and blocks access to several orange tiles. Clearing the brown spoon is absolutely necessary to free the right side of the soup bowl. The brown ants steadily eat their way up the spoon handle. This opens the right side of the picture and creates plenty of room for future ant swarms

   Release the lock and deploy
   Release the lock and deploy yellow ants for the soup swirl You have a yellow block in the tray marked with a padlock symbol. The ants on the board manage to eat the key tiles hidden in the lower soup to unlock it. Once the yellow block unlocks you pull it directly into an empty waiting slot. Yellow ants rush to the center of the soup to eat the light yellow swirl. They clear out the very middle of the bowl in a matter of seconds. The orange ants are already clearing the bulk of the surrounding orange soup. Balancing the orange blocks and the yellow blocks clears the center mass quickly and efficiently. You now have a giant empty space right in the middle of the board

   

4. 4
   Clear the remaining white bowl
   Clear the remaining white bowl and purple pattern tiles The left side of the bowl is mostly gone but the right side still holds several tiles. You pull another white block and another purple block from the tray pool. The white ants travel up the right side and finish the upper right edge of the bowl. The purple ants follow close behind and finish the remaining right side of the zigzag pattern. Your waiting slots stay totally clear because the ants have a direct open path to their targets through the empty center. The bottom half of the screen is now completely empty. The ants have a massive highway to reach the top sections of the puzzle

   

5. 5
   Send a massive wave of
   Send a massive wave of green ants to the top background The entire top half of the screen consists of green background tiles. You pull a large green block from the tray to tackle this massive area. The green ants travel straight up the empty space where the bowl and soup used to be. They spread out along the top edge of the board and begin eating the huge green section. The number on the green block counts down rapidly as dozens of ants hit the tiles at the same time. You keep pulling green blocks as they appear in the tray to keep the pressure on the top background. The green ants clear the top left corner and move toward the top right

   Send red ants to clean
   Send red ants to clean up the spoon handle tip A few small red tiles remain at the very tip of the spoon handle in the upper right corner. You pull a red block into a waiting slot. The red ants travel all the way up through the empty board to the top right corner. They target the red tiles and eat the final pieces of the spoon. This clears the final obstacle on the right side of the board and allows the green ants to finish the upper right background without any interference. The red block empties out of your waiting slot quickly and leaves you with plenty of room for the final moves

   Empty the final tray blocks
   Empty the final tray blocks to finish the puzzle You only have a few remaining blocks left in the tray pool. You pull the last orange block and the last black block into your waiting slots. The orange ants eat the final few drops of soup on the right side. The black ants clear the last remaining bits of the top outline. You then pull the final green block. The green ants swarm and consume the last few green tiles at the very top edge of the screen. The board is now completely clean and you win the level
8. 8
   Open the bottom edges with
   Open the bottom edges with green and cyan blocks Your first major goal is to carve out some working space in the meadow. The ants need a clear walking path from their nest hole to the higher sections of the board. Look at your tray and select the green block holding twenty four ants along with the cyan block holding twenty one ants. Dropping these into your waiting slots sends two thick streams of ants up the left and right sides of the screen. The green ants start eating the grass along the bottom edge while the cyan ants target the blue background pieces near the flowers. Watch the numbers on your tray blocks drop as the ants successfully grab their targets. You want these initial blocks to empty completely before you pull anything else so you do not crowd your five slots too early. This patient approach prevents a sudden board lock
