- 1Send black ants to attack
Send black ants to attack the chocolate barriers and the main body. Right at the start you face those two massive chocolate barriers at the bottom corners. You need to start chipping away at that count immediately. The chocolate blocks sit directly over the only entry points to the lower edges. You have no choice but to break them first. Pull a Black block from the tray. The black ants will stream out of the nest and head straight for the bottom of the black creature. As they clear the black tiles they also begin hitting the chocolate tiles. When the black ants touch the chocolate you will see the numbers drop. It takes hundreds of ants to fully destroy these barriers. You must keep the black ants flowing for a long time to break through completely. Leave the black block in the wait slot and let the ants do their work
- 2Pull a yellow block to
Pull a yellow block to start clearing the large moon. While the black ants are busy with the lower section and the chocolate you need to activate another path. Look at the tray and find a Yellow block. Pull the Yellow block into the second wait slot. The yellow moon gives you a perfect safe zone. The yellow ants will spread out in a large wave across the center of the board. This massive surface area means the yellow block will drain steadily without getting stuck behind other colors. The yellow ants will run up the middle and start eating away at the large yellow moon behind the creature. This is a very safe move because the moon is huge and the yellow ants will have plenty of open tiles to target. By running black and yellow ants at the same time you keep the board active and prevent your wait slots from sitting idle
- 3Release white ants to clear
Release white ants to clear the background edges. The chocolate count is dropping down into the one hundred and ninety range but it is still blocking the corners. You have open paths along the left and right sides of the yellow moon. Pull a White block from the tray to send white ants up these side paths. The white tiles outline the entire moon and creature. Because the white tiles form a border the white ants have to travel a long distance from the nest. This travel time keeps the white block in the wait slot for a while. You want this long travel time because it prevents you from pulling too many blocks too fast. Your wait slots will now hold Black, Yellow, and White blocks. The board will be swarming with ants moving in three different directions. This constant movement is exactly what you want to avoid a traffic jam
- 4Manage the connected blocks and
Manage the connected blocks and keep the pressure on the black tiles. Look down at your tray and you will notice some blocks are linked together with a green line. You must pull these connected boxes carefully. The green line between the boxes means they belong together. You cannot pull one without pulling the other. When you pull the Green block the connected Pink block will also become active. Before you pull them make sure there is an open path for both colors on the board. The green ants need the eyes open and the pink ants need the tail sections open. If you pull them before those paths are clear the blocks will sit in your tray and block other moves. Pull another Black block to replace the first one once it runs out. The black ants continue their steady march upward through the center to reach the ears
- 5Target the orange face and
Target the orange face and the red stripes on the tail. By now the black ants have completely destroyed the chocolate barriers. The bottom corners are fully open. This is a great moment to focus on the colorful details of the creature. Pull an Orange block and a Red block from the tray. The orange and red tiles are mixed closely together on the face and tail. The orange ants will rush to the center to clear the bright orange cheeks and forehead. They will also head right to clear the orange sections of the tail. The red ants will target the red stripes on the tail and the small red details on the nose. Watch how the ants route themselves around the remaining black tiles. You always want to ensure the orange and red blocks have a clear line of sight to their targets. Your wait slots might get a little crowded here so just wait a moment if you have four slots full
- 6Reveal the hidden box and
Reveal the hidden box and clear the green eyes. As you empty the front rows of the tray the grey hidden box will finally reveal its true color. Hidden boxes add a small element of mystery to the board. When the grey question mark changes you finally see your next move. Often these hidden boxes hold exactly what you need for the final details. Pull the Green block to finish off the bright green eyes of the creature. The green ants rush the eyes and bring the face to life. The board is looking much emptier now. Most of the solid colors are gone leaving only scattered details and the outer border. You must be more precise with your pulls now. Every pull must have an immediate target. Keep an eye on your remaining White blocks and pull another one to let the white ants continue working their way up the left and right edges toward the top corners
- 7Clear the remaining brown ground
Clear the remaining brown ground pieces and black outlines. You are getting very close to the end. The tray will offer a Brown block and one final massive Black block. The small brown tiles are easy to miss at the bottom of the screen. Pull the Brown block to send brown ants to clean up these tiny foot details scattered under the creature. Pull the Black block to send a fresh wave of black ants to the very top of the board. The massive black block finishes the heavy lifting on the creature outline. These black ants sweep across the top edge and define the ears. Your wait slots will drain quickly now because the paths to these remaining tiles are completely wide open. Let the ants finish their routes before pulling the very last blocks - 8Wrap the white ants around
Wrap the white ants around the final top border. The white background is the only thing left standing. Pull your last White block. The final white block sends a satisfying stream of white ants up both sides of the screen. They march in a perfect single file line around the outer perimeter. They will turn the corners and march across the top border meeting in the middle. You might have a few leftover counts on a Green or Orange block sitting in the wait slots clearing the absolute last pixels of the face. As the white ants meet in the top center the last white pixel vanishes. The victory screen appears and you have conquered the level without ever jamming your slots
