- 1destroy the green stems and
destroy the green stems and yellow flower centers You pull green blocks to send ants after the stems connecting the flowers to the ground. The green ants march straight up the middle and eat the stems holding the red flower. You also pull yellow blocks to target the bright centers of all three flowers. The yellow ants travel into the middle of the pink petals, red petals, and light blue petals to eat the center squares. Removing the stems and centers breaks the large solid blocks of color into much smaller pieces. This makes it much easier to clear the remaining petals in the next steps
- 2eat the red petals of
eat the red petals of the large center flower The middle flower is the largest piece of the picture and requires a massive amount of ants. You pull red 35 blocks from the tray to send red ants into the center of the board. The red ants swarm the large flower and rapidly eat the red tiles. You must use several red blocks to completely clear this middle section. You keep an eye on your waiting slots to ensure the red blocks have a clear path to the red tiles at all times. The center flower disappears entirely and leaves a gaping hole in the middle of the picture
- 3clear the pink and light
clear the pink and light blue petals on the side flowers The left flower needs pink blocks and the right flower needs light blue blocks. You alternate between pulling pink blocks and light blue blocks from the tray to clear both sides evenly. The pink ants eat the left side petals while the light blue ants eat the right side petals. Alternating colors ensures that neither side gets jammed up in your waiting slots. The side flowers shrink down quickly as the ants consume the colored tiles. You are now left with just a few scattered pieces of the picture at the very top of the board
- 4finish the remaining top border
finish the remaining top border pieces to win the level Only a few small fragments of the black outline and top flower petals remain visible. You pull the final black, pink, and light blue blocks from the tray to clean up the rest. The ants march all the way to the top edge of the board and consume the last few tiles. The entire board is now completely clean and empty. You kept your waiting slots open the entire time and successfully managed the connected boxes. The picture is completely cleared and you win the level
- 5Start with the bottom rind
Start with the bottom rind to open the initial pathways. At the beginning of the puzzle, the ants only have access to the bottom edges of the watermelon slices. You need to pull blocks that match these outer layers. Select a white block and a light green block from your tray to get things moving. The ants will stream out of the nest hole and begin clearing the white inner rind and the green outer rind. Watch the numbers on your tray blocks drop as the ants consume the tiles. This action pushes the front line deeper into the watermelon. Keep a close eye on your five waiting slots and avoid pulling red blocks right away. The ants cannot reach the red flesh until they chew through the rind
- 6Transition into the dark red
Transition into the dark red shading and red flesh. Once the bottom rind begins to break apart, the red sections become exposed. Now you can safely pull a red block and a dark red block into your waiting slots. The colony will divide its attention between finishing the green rind and starting on the red fruit. Pulling a dark red block helps here because the dark red tiles form a thick layer just above the rind on the left slice. By clearing the dark red tiles, you open massive pathways into the center of the slices. Your tray will reveal more blocks as you use the top layers. Always make sure the ants have an open route to the colors you select to keep your slots from jamming
- 7Carve a path directly toward
Carve a path directly toward the blue key. With the red flesh exposed, you must prioritize grabbing the blue key located near the bottom middle of the board. Look at your tray and find the blue lock restricting your access to the blocks underneath it. Pull another red block into your active slots to clear the tiles immediately surrounding the blue key. As the ants eat the red tiles touching the key, they will collect it automatically. Collecting the blue key immediately shatters the blue lock in your tray. This frees up good space and gives you access to fresh blocks. Managing this unlock early prevents your tray from becoming stagnant and keeps your block options varied - 8Push the colony upward to
Push the colony upward to secure the yellow key. After dealing with the blue key, shift your focus to the upper section of the right watermelon slice. The yellow key rests high up in the red flesh. You need to carve a channel through the middle of the slice to reach it. Pull a red block and a white block to clear the way. The white blocks are necessary because some white rind tiles extend all the way up the sides of the slices. As your ants march higher, they will expose the red tiles touching the yellow key. Once they consume those neighboring tiles, the yellow key activates and shatters the yellow lock in your tray. Getting both locks out of the way is a huge help for your tray management - 9Process the black seeds scattered
Process the black seeds scattered across the fruit. Now that your tray is fully unlocked, you can handle the black tiles acting as watermelon seeds. These seeds sit alone inside the red flesh of both slices. Pull a black block into your waiting slots. Because you already cleared much of the surrounding red fruit, the ants have clear paths to reach multiple seeds at once. The black block will count down rapidly as the ants swarm the seeds and carry them away. Clearing the seeds connects the different cleared pockets of the board together. This creates large open areas for your ants to travel through. It also exposes the final thick sections of red and dark red tiles near the top edges - 10Clear the surrounding tiles to
Clear the surrounding tiles to access the Hungry Door. Look at the top left corner where the green Hungry Door sits. It requires ten feeds to open and resolve. Before the ants can interact with it, you must clear the tiles blocking its entrance. Pull a dark red block and a white block to eliminate the final barrier tiles around the door. Once the path is totally clear, the ants will start pouring directly into the Hungry Door. You will see the number ten slowly tick down to zero as the colony feeds it. Do not pull unnecessary blocks into your slots while the ants are busy feeding the door. Let them finish the job so the door fully resolves and removes itself from the board completely - 11Clean up the remaining outer
Clean up the remaining outer rind and upper corners. With the Hungry Door gone and the keys collected, only a few stray tiles remain on the board. You will likely see some light green and white tiles lingering on the far left and right edges. Pull the corresponding light green and white blocks from your tray into your slots. The ants will take a long march around the empty space to reach these perimeter tiles. Keep your slots managed carefully during this final phase. You only have a few tiles left on the screen. Pulling a massive block value might leave a block sitting in your slots forever. Only pull what you need to finish the remaining pieces
